Then, we went to the viaduct itself. The river bed under the viaduct was also very good accessible and I absolute love how the colours of the rocks turned out on photo!  

My "geek" heart made a little jump for this elopement shoot in Glen Finnan! Lovely couple Geeke & Jerry were happy to do this magical shoot with me. Geeke is also a big fan of Harry Potter, so we HAD to bring some props and details. I mean, you kinda have to when you do your elopement shoot in Glen Finnan, at the famous Hogwarts Express viaduct.. ;)

We met at the parking lot around 10 AM, I recommend getting there in the morning, as the parking lot has quite some space, when we got back after a few hours, it was full. It's a paid parking lot, but honestly, not too expensive. 

On the way to the viaduct, we walked along a beautiful looking river, which was quite accessible. But, we all love an adventure, right?! So we stopped to make some great shots with the Hogwarts Express viaduct at the background.

Time to get a better view of the viaduct! Everything is very easy to find. From the river bed you have to walk a little back and up the hill. There you'll have a good view of the viaduct and another great spot to take pictures

Last but not least, the vendors! You might have spotted this beautiful painted jacket with Hogwarts on it and gorgeous autumn details.
